JUNE 23 JUNE 24 THE AIES AND CARGOWEIGHT TEAMS RECEIVED THE SPECIAL INNOVATION AWARD, SPONSORED BY ACCENTURE ROMANIA, AT THE GEN-E 2026 NATIONAL FINALS At the national finals of the Gen-E 2026 entrepreneurship competition, the AIES and CargoWeight teams received the special Innovation Award, presented by Accenture Romania, a key partner of the Junior Achievement Romania entrepreneurship program, actively involved through hands-on workshops, mentoring sessions, and themed webinars. This award reflects a commitment to supporting ideas that use technology to bring about tangible improvements in society and industry. Partner: Accenture Romania 30 STUDENTS FROM THE TUDOR VIANU NATIONAL COLLEGE OF COMPUTER SCIENCE, PARTICIPANTS IN THE FIRST “VIITOR AI LA ȘCOALĂ” WORKSHOP As part of the PREPARE phase of the “Viitor AI la școală” project, organized by Junior Achievement Romania with support from Metropolitan Life and the MetLife Foundation, 30 students from the Tudor Vianu National College of Computer Science in Bucharest participated in the first workshop in the series. Held over two days and structured into two dedicated Innovation Day sessions, the event brought together students, two volunteer mentors from Metropolitan Life, and two representatives from JA Romania. Bridging theory and practice, the high schoolers leveraged artificial intelligence tools to build tech-driven solutions tackling real-world challenges in both local communities and the insurance sector.
