23,210 students Eco-nomy for and Your Communityresponsibility environment 482 teachers 275 schools 122 localities Eco-nomy for Your Community is a project for high school students, developed with the support of Raiffeisen Bank. Its activities contribute to the creation of knowledge and skills they need to start and manage projects for sustainable community development. The project aims to develop students’ attitudes as responsible consumers or future community leaders focused on sustainable initiatives designed in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. Through practical activities, examples, debates, case studies and teamwork, students learn what it means to run a sustainable, environmentally responsible business and they gain an overview of the main actors in economic life. At the same time, students have the opportunity to take part in the Eco-nomy for Your Community Challenge, through which they can obtain financial support for technical equipment needed in school activities or distance learning.
