OVER 350 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS LEARN HEALTHY FINANCIAL BEHAVIORS AS
PART OF THE MY FINANCIAL JOURNEY EDUCATIONAL PROJECT, PILOTED BY JA
ROMANIA AND MORNINGSTAR SUSTAINALYTICS
My financial journey combines a series of applied learning activities that help students
discover and apply knowledge and skills on saving, budgeting and financially healthy
relationships in real-life contexts. In the pilot edition of the project, 6 students from
technological high schools in Bucharest and Timisoara receive private scholarships to
integrate the principles of financial education into everyday life.

THE SECOND EDITION OF THE PERSONAL AND BUSINESS FINANCIAL SKILLS
EDUCATION PROJECT HAS STARTED WITH THE SUPPORT OF VOLVO FINANCIAL
SERVICES
Part of a global initiative, the project targets high school students and helps them
understand the essentials of accessing and managing financial services responsibly
through practical exercises and specific examples. From April onwards, the applied
learning part will be complemented by classroom and online meetings with Volvo
Financial Services professionals, where students will discover effective saving strategies
and learn how to create a contingency plan for unexpected financial situations.
