MAY 18 MAY 19 EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND THEIR APPLICABILITY IN PRACTICAL STUDENT TRAINING FOR THE DEVELOPEMENT OF SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES The 7th edition of the Innovation Camp® workshop, organized by Junior Achievement in partnership with HP Inc. Romania, challenged 30 students from Bucharest to develop technology-driven solutions aimed to improve life quality in local communities. Guided by volunteer mentors from HP Inc., participants designed innovative and sustainable projects while building practical skills for their future careers and entrepreneurial journeys. The program continues to support young people through online courses and mentorship in the JA BizzFactory™ Incubator, accelerating project development and easing their transition into the workforce. Romania THE RE-POWER YOUR FUTURE PROJECT CONTINUES TO HIGHLIGHT YOUNG PEOPLE’S VOICES AS PART OF A CAMPAIGN DEDICATED TO THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT ROMANIA AND THE UNICREDIT FOUNDATION The Re-Power Your Future project is taking shape through the stories of the students involved, as they discover the steps toward their future. Students from the Petru Maior Technical High School in Bucharest shared how their experiences in the project became a turning point, reshaping their perspective on learning and envisioning their future. From developing communication and teamwork skills to discovering new perspectives beyond traditional education, JA’s entrepreneurship activities gave them the opportunity to learn by doing, closely supported by mentors from UniCredit Bank Romania.
