THE SCHOOL OF THE FUTURE IS COMING TO JA SCHOOLS: TRAINING SESSIONS
FOR TEACHERS, SUPPORTED BY VODAFONE FOUNDATION
More than 80 teachers from the 50 schools participating in the School of the future
is coming to JA schools project explored modern teaching methods, discovering how
technology can transform the 6-12 year-olds’ learning process. In hands-on activities,
they were introduced to the use of augmented reality kits and learned how to combine
digital skills with cross-curricular notions in geography, biology, physics or music.
Participants also discovered how such approaches can stimulate critical thinking and
collaboration among students.

STUDENTS FROM NICOLAE KRETZULESCU ECONOMIC COLLEGE ATTENDED
INNOVATION DAY ACTIVITIES TO INTEGRATE AI IN SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS
We concluded four days of Innovation Day™ workshops at the Nicolae Kretzulescu
Economic College. What are the first steps in developing a project with an impact for the
community, how to increase its entrepreneurial potential, and how to integrate elements
of artificial intelligence (AI) – these were the topics covered by the 51 participating stu-
dents. Through the ideas they developed, students showed their passion for exploring
the latest technologies to achieve sustainability and positive change in areas such as
agriculture, environment or medicine.
