THIS YEAR, SIBIU MIDDLE SCHOOL NO. 8 RANKS AMONG THE WINNERS OF THE
SCHOOL OF THE FUTURE NETWORK COMPETITION
We are proud of the results achieved by the educational institutions in the School of the
Future Network community, and today we extend our congratulations to Sibiu Middle
School No. 8, which is among this year’s winners of the competition held as part of the
project. We witnessed dynamic activities, that the students attended with smiles and a
great desire to explore.

ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIONS, AS PART OF THE ECO-NOMY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY
COMPETITION, ORGANIZED BY JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT ROMANIA AND RAIFFEISEN
BANK
In the second edition of the Eco-nomy project, carried out in partnership with Raiffeisen
Bank, over 8,800 students from 317 high schools were inspired to embrace principles
of circular economy and take part, alongside their teachers, in activities focused on
environmental responsibility.
The most active high school in the project, Traian National College, Drobeta-Turnu
Severin, carried out throughout the year 11 activities that encouraged civic engagement
and combined environmental protection with social solidarity.
