THE BEST FINANCIAL PLAN AWARD – SPONSORED BY KPMG ROMANIA –,
AWARDED IN THE STUDENT SECTION OF THE GEN-E COMPETITION TO THE
VOLTMECH TEAM, FROM THE POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF TIMISOARA
The Best Financial Plan award for proposing a relevant and topical technological solution
with direct applicability in a development field was awarded at the GEN-E national final
to the VoltMech student team, from the Polytechnic University of Timisoara. JA Romania
competitions are important learning opportunities for young people starting out in
entrepreneurship, providing them with real-life contexts for validating their ideas and
with support from mentors and business professionals.

JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT AND KRUK ROMANIA PRESENT THE RESULTS OF THE
EIGHTH EDITION OF THE SMART CREDITS™ NATIONAL FINANCIAL EDUCATION
PROJECT
KRUK Romania and Junior Achievement present the results of the eighth edition of the
national Smart Credits™ project, reinforcing the role of financial education and young
people’s ability to make responsible decisions about financial planning and money use.
Over 1,600 students from 72 high schools in Bucharest and across the country had free
access to the Smart Credits™ financial education module, adapted to hybrid learning.
Classroom activities were complemented by sessions held by KRUK Romania volunteers
in Bucharest and 18 other locations, where over 500 students had the opportunity to
learn how to make informed financial decisions.
