”The reason I agreed to join the Junior
Achievement Romania board of direc-
tors is that this organization perfectly
combines education and entrepreneur-
ship. Junior Achievement Romania is
probably the largest provider of school
entrepreneurship education in Romania,
and I strongly believe that Romania’s
opportunity is to develop the entrepre-
neurial class and foster private sector
development. Moreover, the importance
of preparing young people for the future
and the impact that Junior Achievement
Romania’s educational programs and
BOARD MEMBER
projects have on school and universi-
ty students are a guarantee that this
country will continue to develop, perhaps even faster and more evenly than it has
done in the last 20 years.
I have put all my experience in working with entrepreneurs into the development of
Junior Achievement Romania, with the conviction that education and, in particular,
entrepreneurial education will help young people to grow in a way that will enable
them to be economically independent and to decide, with maturity, what is the best
path for them and their families.”
