”JA Romania is doing a great job be-
cause it has understood for a very long
time that any support for young people’s
education is actually an investment in
our future. Their educational programs
and projects are designed to prepare
young people for a good start in their
careers.
And we at HP know how important it is
to support education initiatives. That’s
why we are working with JA Romania
to promote the HP LIFE curriculum – a
program offered by the HP Foundation,
which provides free online entrepre-

neurial and IT skills training to students
around the world. Since the beginning
of this collaboration, the program has reached more than 135,000 participants,
who have had access to modern Romanian-language learning resources on the JA
platform.
During the Gen-E entrepreneurship competition I met, as a member of the jury,
wonderful young people with brilliant ideas, who demonstrated the effectiveness of
these programs in training tomorrow’s professionals. Besides the mentoring ses-
sions organized by my HP colleagues, every year we sponsor one of the Gen-E
awards, providing the chance for the development of a start-up. In 2023, we of-
fered the Best Tech Idea award for a device and associated app that can prevent
epileptic seizures and change the lives of many people. I am honored to be a board
member of JA Romania, and that HP is a long-standing partner for JA’s educational
projects.”
