The interactive activities of the Building Jobs project, carried out with the students, were both dy-
namic and educational, supporting the development of their communication and collaboration skills.
Working with the volunteers was particularly valuable, as their involvement brought energy and
authenticity to the experience. I would be delighted to take part in such activities again in the future.
Teacher, Petru Rares High School, Brasov
During the Building Jobs project activities, I’ve learned that the path to the right career is not
always linear and that it’s natural to make mistakes or try different things before making the right
choices. Everyone has their own pace in finding the job that suits them best, and the process can
take time. I also realized how important it is to choose a workplace that brings us joy, not just one
that offers financial gain or social status.
Student, Andrei Saguna National College, Brasov
We really enjoyed the Economic Opportunities for All webinar, which was extremely useful for
the students, as they had the opportunity to learn about the life experiences and the professional
backgrounds of the volunteers. It all came as a complement to the classroom leadership lessons.
Teacher, Jacques M. Elias Technological High School, Sascut
Very nice the activity of the career guidance program, with clear explanations adapted to our level
of understanding. I discovered very interesting things about what it means to have a job. Interactive
and dynamic, the class kept me engaged from start to finish.
Student, Costin C. Kiritescu Economic College, Bucharest
The partnership with JA Romania for the EMPASS project has given our students the opportunity
to build on their soft skills in a European, modern and labor market relevant framework. The testing
process was rigorous but accessible and the impact on students’ confidence and motivation was
immediately noticeable.
Teacher, Virgil Madgearu Economic College, Bucharest
For our students, EMPASS was more than just a test – it was a step forward in believing they are
ready for the real world. We saw enthusiasm, ambition and a genuine desire to demonstrate their
skills. We are glad to have been part of something that brings out what really matters in professional
life.
Teacher, Virgil Madgearu Economic College, Bucharest
Taking part in the Real Experiences for Career Opportunities project was a valuable activity,
because it allowed a critical analysis of the link between personal and professional skills required in
a workplace, which is a great asset for the students’ professional future.
