With the Foundation’s backing, students are pitching creative tourism concepts at Innovation Day to attract young visitors to Dambovita County, as part of the ‘Mobility for the Future: Education and Career Guidance for Students in Rural and Urban Areas’ project. Partner: Dacia Foundation for Romania YOUNG ROMANIANS ACHIEVE TWO NEW SUCCESSES AT THE EUROPEAN FINALS OF THE GEN-E ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETITION, WINNING THE AI EXCELLENCE AWARD AND THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD Romania achieved two remarkable new successes at Gen-E 2026, Europe’s largest youth entrepreneurship festival, organized by Junior Achievement Europe in Riga, Latvia. The VoiceLens team won the prestigious Jørgen M. & Anette Clausen AI Award, and the Algebo.AI team was named winner of the Public Choice Award following a Europe-wide public vote. These awards confirm the high level of the projects developed by young Romanian entrepreneurs and their ability to address real-world challenges through innovative and impactful solutions.
