ARRIVE
(Advance Retail Readiness in
Vocational Education)
ARRIVE (Advance Retail Readiness in Vocational Education) is a project funded by
the Citi Foundation through the Global Innovation Challenge 2025 program. The
initiative supports students in developing the technical, digital, and communication
skills needed to access the labour market, particularly in the retail sector.
Coordinated by Junior Achievement Romania, the project brings together partners
from Romania, Ireland, Portugal, and Hungary to prepare young people for a fast-
changing retail industry.
Over two years, around 4,000 students from vocational and technological
high schools will gain access to educational resources and practical learning
opportunities. The project includes specialised modules on customer experience,
digital marketing, e-commerce, AI in retail, supply chain management, and
sustainability in retail. Students will also benefit from internships, job shadowing
days, and practical activities designed to strengthen employability skills and support
their transition from education to the labour market.
