The Introduction to E-commerce course, which I completed after eight weeks, was an extremely valuable learning experience for me, that exceeded my initial expectations. I was able to develop essential skills related to how the digital marketplace works, from the strategic planning of an online store to the use of analytics and marketing tools. Beyond the technical knowledge I gained, this course gave me greater confidence in my own ability to navigate a complex business environment, turning uncertainty into a clear vision. I believe the opportunities this training offers me are vast, facilitating both my pursuit of higher edu- cation in this field and my rapid integration into real-world entrepreneurial projects. It is an essential program for any student who wants to understand and thrive in today’s economy. Student, N. Kretzulescu Economic High School, Bucharest Serving as an instructor/trainer for the Introduction to E-commerce course, conducted as part of the European Skills for Retail project in partnership with Junior Achievement Romania, was an exceptionally valuable educational experience. Over the course of eight weeks (March-April 2026), the students in Class 11A at the N. Kretzulescu Economic High School demonstrated interest, cre- ativity, and openness toward the field of e-commerce, a sector essential to today’s digital economy. The course, organized for the first time at a high school in Bucharest, offered students the opportuni- ty to understand modern concepts related to online platforms, digital marketing, consumer behavior, and the development of an online store. Practical activities and real-world examples helped increase the students’ motivation and engagement in the learning process. I believe this program plays an important role in the professional training of young people and in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, preparing them for the demands of a labor market undergoing continuous digital transformation. The students acquired skills relevant to the future and gained a better understanding of the opportunities that the online environment offers in the fields of business and modern retail. Teacher, N. The educational materials, the JA Learn platform, and the international dimension of the programs contributed to a valuable learning experience. I am pleased that the students are already applying the knowledge they have gained in practical projects and school competitions.
