AI WORKSHOP AT GOOGLE’S BUCHAREST OFFICE, DURING EU CODE WEEK
As part of #EUCodeWeek, a workshop on artificial intelligence was held at Google Romania’s
office, attended by 40 students from five high schools in Bucharest. The program included
theoretical presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and a session on the ethics of AI use.

GLOBAL INNOVATION CHALLENGE 2025 PROGRAM TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE FIND
EMPLOYMENT
Today we are celebrating the results of the Citi Foundation Global Innovation Challenge!
We are pleased to announce that Junior Achievement Romania is among the winners
set to receive a $500,000 grant for a project that will help underprivileged youth in
Romania, Ireland, Portugal, and Hungary develop skills for careers in the retail sector.
This two-year, multi-country program is designed to provide technical training,
internships, and job-shadowing opportunities, as well as communication skills and
digital literacy training for 4,000 high school students from disadvantaged areas in the
four countries. Together, we are helping to bridge the gap between education and the
job market.
