•
Junior Achievement programs and projects provide students and teachers with FREE access
to the JA international network (40 countries in Europe and over 100 worldwide).
According to impact evaluations, thanks to the experience gained through participating in JA
programs and projects, JA alumni are more likely to find jobs after graduation.
Junior Achievement (JA), the world’s largest education organization, inspires and prepares the
young generation to succeed in life and future career by encouraging initiative and the development
of essential skills for personal and professional life.
For more than 30 years, JA has been offering young people in Romania applied learning opportunities
through which they can develop the skills, mindset and confidence they need to bring innovation and
competitiveness to the entrepreneurial environment, to adapt more easily to the jobs of the future
and to be financially independent.
For Junior Achievement educational activities, a specific methodology is applied.
Inspire – Prepare – Succeed (IPS):
•
Inspire: learning experience that contributes to the development of basic knowledge and skills
through access to educational materials
•
Prepare: learning experience that develops skills, attitudes and competences through access
to webinars, trainings, courses, and workshops
•
Succeed: applied learning experience that provides real-world job opportunities, through
access to JA job and entrepreneurship incubators, job shadows or internships
In the 2023-2024 school year, more than 292,000 young people and 5,306 teachers from
1,834 education institutions in 681 localities participated in JA Romania programs, projects and
competitions.
For the 2024-2025 school year, the teachers’ enrolment session runs on the JA Hub platform
(https://jar.ro/inscriere) until October 7, 2024.
Through a partnership with the Ministry of Education and with the financial support of the business
community, JA Romania offers educational institutions free applied learning and project-based
programs, projects and competitions for primary school, middle school, high school and university
education. It also provides a series of practical modules, with activities similar to those in the real
economy, aimed at developing the skills young people need in life and their future profession.
