THE REGINA MARIA HEALTHCARE NETWORK AND JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT (JA)
ROMANIA CONCLUDE THE THIRD EDITION OF THE HEALTH HOUR NATIONAL
PROJECT FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS
The REGINA MARIA healthcare network and Junior Achievement (JA) Romania have
completed the third edition of the Health Hour educational project, designed for students
aged 6 to 10. Through interactive activities carried out in over 180 schools across the
country, more than 6,000 students explored, together with their teachers, what it means
to take care of their health: from balanced nutrition, exercise, and hygiene to recognizing
emotions and forming beneficial daily habits.

“GIRLS IN FORESTRY” IN ITS SECOND EDITION, WITH THE SUPPORT OF INGKA
INVESTMENTS ROMANIA
Learning about career opportunities in forest management was made possible through
the voluntary involvement of eight specialists from Ingka Investments Romania. Over the
course of more than 140 hours – 16 interactive classroom lessons, three job shadowing
sessions, and a practical activity in a forest environment –, the volunteers revealed to
students the complexity of working in forestry: the diversity of roles and responsibilities,
the education required, career paths, and the motivation behind choosing such
professions.
