The Economic Opportunities for All project gave my students the chance to practice critical think-
ing on real-world problems and refine their ideas in real time, working in a collaborative environment
like the Mural app. I loved how easily they were able to work as a team and how much courage the
quick feedback from their mentors gave them. The experience was dynamic, relevant and motivated
them to see entrepreneurship as an opportunity accessible to all.

Taking the ESP exam introduces students to essential financial tools and strategic concepts. The
certification adds to the educational portfolio a solid proof of the acquired skills, useful both for being
admitted to university and for entering the labour market.

The Entrepreneurial Skills Pass came as an obvious next step after the JA Company experience:
the exam confirmed that I had mastered the basics of pricing, planning and teamwork. The ESP
certificates are recognized in many countries, so this allows me to better present my skills to poten-
tial employers or universities and gives me the confidence that I can now handle a small business
project.

The It’s My Business! project, part of the Entrepreneurship Education program, has proved par-
ticularly valuable for the students. They learnt the essential steps of starting a business and how
they can turn their passions into a sustainable source of income. Structured brainstorming sessions
generated solid ideas and boosted participants’ confidence in their ability to become independent
entrepreneurs in the future.

The It’s My Business! project taught me, in a simple and engaging way, what it means to start a
small business: starting from the idea and the customer’s need, all the way to costs, price and profit.
Through role plays and specific examples, I learnt how to make a basic business plan, think up a
logo and slogan and how to present everything clearly to my peers. Being able to draw up budgets
and the helpful examples gave me the confidence that anyone can become an entrepreneur if they
start with the right steps.

Taking part in the HP Life activity was a great experience – I met new people and had valuable
interactions. Everything was perfectly organized and the involvement of the mentors was essential
in guiding our team. I hope to attend even more such editions!
